Teacher’s Day celebrated at Bhavans SIS

Bhavans Smart Indian School celebrated Teacher’s Day in the virtual mode. The amazing program really turned to be an impactful time for the teachers. The students who organized a surprise celebration for teachers hosted the show with passion and zeal. The special occasion was graced by the presence of Bhavans Chairman Mr.N.K.Ramachandran Menon.He envisaged the impact of tireless teaching of all the teachers on the society. The school Principal – Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Vice Principal – Ms. Albin Daisy and KG Supervisor – Ms. Rajni Menon expressed their views about the noble profession of teaching.

The program started off with the twist by breaking the news of the surprise celebration to teachers. It was followed by the welcome speech done to recall the significance of the day and talking about the personality who turns to be the reason for the day’s remembrance – Mr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The engaging and interesting games show was conducted by the grade 11 children whose massive preparation to glue the interest of the teachers was evident. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed the innovative games by being split in groups in virtual mode. The melodious live singing and recorded songs from different languages depicted the heights of appreciation the children had for the teachers. The thoughtful drama that mixed the elements of hilarity portraying the new mode of teaching explained the difficulties that teachers face in these unprecedented days. The students had rightly comprehended the nature of tediousness and expressed their amazement for the teachers. The school Principal congratulated the children for their earnestness to make teachers happy. A few teachers also expressed their gratitude to the children.

Beautiful and creative cards were received on this grand day from the students of Primary Wing. It was made as collages. It was indeed a memorable day to treasure and cherish.
