Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad takes oath as Kuwait

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah took oath before the National Assembly on Wednesday to become the 16th Amir of the state of Kuwait.

"I swear by Almighty Allah to respect the Constitution and the laws of the State, to defend the liberties, interests and properties of the people and to safeguard the independence and territorial integrity of the country," His Highness the Amir, reading Article 60 of the Constitution.

The Amiri Diwan announced passing away of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Government, holding an extraordinary meeting, named His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad as Amir of the State of Kuwait.

Good Day

I would like to express my personal feelings and on behalf of Pakistanis community,
Congratulation to him and his family and all around.
I am in Kuwait since 26 year and seen him as a very proactive member of parliament whatever duties were given to His Highness even before the Amir of Kuwait ,
at Present he is the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jabber Al-Sabah the Amir Of Kuwait .

Sheikh-Nawaf-Al-Ahmad-takes-oath-as-Kuwait 16th-Amir/ ,
i am 100 % sure at this stage as a Amir of Kuwait he will response his duty more than what he have done for the foreigners and to the Locals .
he is real my ideal and honestly / hardworking and up to the level of Kuwait people requirement .
Wishing him good Luck and hoping the bright future of Kuwait in His leadership.
