The Ministry of Interior announced that it will close some of the roads in the country on Sunday morning on the occasion of the 45th Gulf Summit where several leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are participating.
This includes:
1- King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Road (Road No 50) from the beginning of the airport roundabout towards Kuwait City, diverting vehicles to Al-Ghazali Road and Road 6.5, and from Kuwait City towards the airport (closed), diverting vehicles to the Sixth Ring Road towards Jahra.
2- The Sixth Ring Road coming from Jahra towards Al-Masilah and diverting vehicles to King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road towards Kuwait City, and coming from Al-Masilah towards Jahra (closed) to King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road.
3- King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road (road no 40) coming from Ahmadi and diverting vehicles to the Sixth Ring Road towards Al-Masilah and coming from Madinah to the Fifth Ring Road, and after the Fifth Ring Road it is closed, and from Kuwait City towards Ahmadi to the Fifth Ring Road and diverting vehicles to Jahra and Salmiya, in addition to the fact that Subhan Road is completely closed in both directions.
The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media called on citizens and residents to cooperate with the security forces.
