The interior ministry carried out an intensive security and traffic campaign in Khaitan early Thursday. The operation resulted in the issuance of 705 traffic citations, the arrest of 20 people in violation of residency and labor laws and the detention of three people without identification.
Authorities also apprehended 10 individuals reported as absconders and 12 others with outstanding arrest warrants.
Five suspects were found in possession of suspected narcotics and alcohol, and one vehicle was impounded for traffic violations. A motorcycle wanted by judicial authorities was also seized, and two individuals were referred to traffic detention.
