STECI Kuwait Parish Celebrated 55th Parish Day

St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India Kuwait Parish crossed one more mile stone by conducting its 55th Parish Anniversary on Friday the September 11th 2020 through virtual platform. Parish Vicar Rev. John Mathew presided the function. The public meeting started with the prayer by Rev. Shaji Alexander (Former Vicar). Parish Vice-President Mr. A G. Cherian welcomed the gathering. Mr. George Varghese (Parish Prathinidhi Sabha Member) presented the history of the parish. Chief guest of the day Rev. Abraham George (Sabha Secretary) gave the anniversary message. Rev. Fr. Mathew K. George (KECF President), Mr.M.Jacob (Founder Member), Mr. Roy K. Yohanan (NECK Secretary), Mr. Bejoy Chandy (Gulf Diocese Secretary ) were delivered the felicitation message. Parish secretary Mr. Boney K. Abraham thanked the dignitaries and the attendees.

Bishop Dr.M.K. Koshy made the closing prayer and benediction. Former Vicars, Preists, Evangelist's, Sevini's, former parish members, members from other parishes were attended.

On the same day evening a thanks giving service were conducted at Church & Parish hall (NECK). Vicar Rev. John Mathew lead the service and shared the word of God. Mr. Abraham Mathew, Mrs. Jaimol Roy read the Bible portions and Mr. Ranil T. Mathew led the intercessory prayer. The parish choir under the leadership of Mr. Sijumon Abraham lead the singing session on both the meetings. Mr.Biju Samuel (Trustee), Mr. Reju Daniel John(Accountant), Mr. Mathew George (Lay Leader) worked hard to made the meeting a grand success.
