Residency expired for 1,27,000 expatriates outside country

Residency of around 1,27,000 expatriates who are outside Kuwait is expired, and they won't be able to enter the country without getting a new visa.

According to Al-Rai Arabic newspaper, either the expatriated did not renew the residency, or their sponsor deliberately did not renew. Some of the expatriates working for government agencies, including the Ministry of Education, also included in this, daily added.

The Ministry of Interior had earlier announced all residents abroad to expedite the renewal of their residency online, but many of them did not benefit from those decisions.
