Renewed driving license can be collected from Saturday

Ministry of Interior announced that the delivery of driving licenses renewed through the online service will begin from next Saturday.

The licenses which are renewed from 11/4/2020 to date can be collected from the Sports Club building at Al-Nasr Club from next Saturday during 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Floyd Saturday, June 6, 2020 @Raaj : for renewal and requirement for eye test, print the form insert your photo and visit the Muroor, they will stamp and send you to the eye testing center. For Ahmadi its within walking distance from the Muroor. After your eye test is done that form need to be part of your application for renewal (Same like before manual application with company stamp & signatures). These licenses will be printed in the Muroor like before. I have completed the eye test waiting for the Muroor to open. Reason for all this mess is because. In the eye test center they dont have system access to upload the test results.

raaj Friday, June 5, 2020 @Floyd I have been facing same kind of situation with renewal of my License, it asking me to do eye test or medical report and wanted to know if you have done the eye recently in Ahmadi withi May/June? With regards to renewal I have been to Shuwaikh /Jabriya but they are saying wait till Muroor gets opened. Kindly advice Medical completed month and any information you want to give as I have printed form for medical.

Floyd Thursday, June 4, 2020 While trying to renew, i was asking to do a eye test, so went to Ahmadi Muroor and got it done And now on the system there is no way to submit nor for the test center to upload. How do we proceed with this and get the license renewed? I am sure there are many of us with this scenario. I guess we have to wait for the Department to open to go in person. Please reach out if anyone has a way out. #######2
