Relatives of employees injured in NBTC Camp fire to arrive Kuwait

The NBTC Management has announced that the relatives of employees injured in the fire accident at the Mangaf accommodation will be arriving in Kuwait on Sunday. Mr. Manoj Nandhiyalath, HR & Admin Corporate General Manager, informed that as an initial step, ten relatives of the injured employees who expressed their desire to meet their loved ones will come to Kuwait. He also stated that arrangements have been made for their visas, round-trip flight tickets, food, accommodation, and transportation.

Immediately following the accident, 61 individuals were admitted to various hospitals. Among them, 53 employees have been discharged after recovery. Currently, 8 people remain hospitalized, including 3 who are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit. Facilities are also being provided for those who require specialized treatment in their home country.

Furthermore, NBTC authorities are making arrangements to bring the brother of the suspected Indian employee who's body is yet to be identified, to Kuwait on Sunday. Upon his arrival, the Kuwaiti authorities will conduct the DNA test to officially identify the deceased and will expedite the process of repatriating the body. is now on WhatsApp Channel    Follow Channel
