Recommendation to open visit and Family visa for medical professionals

The General Directorate for residency affairs held a meeting on Sunday to recommend allowing visa for several categories including family visa, commercial and tourist visit visas to expatriates in the country, local Arabic daily Al-Anba reported.

According to report, these recommendations will be submitted to the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Residency Affairs and then to the higher officials for their approval.

The recommendations included allowing family visa for wife and children for all medical personnel working under government bodies, allowing family visa for female doctors and nurses to bring their husbands and children under the age of 16, tourist visa for female medical staff other than the doctor and nurse for their husband and children, allowing medical staff to transfer from a visit visa to family visa, etc.

The meeting also discussed recommendations including allowing family visa for children for female doctors and nurses working in private hospitals (excluding private clinics), family visa for medical and nursing staff working in private hospitals only (excluding private clinics).

These recommendations will be submitted to the higher authorities and is expected to implement at the earliest, reports added.

Ya,we are here waiting for a long term.why its mentioned n such category.thats really unfair...its totally 2years and more fr people who are separated from their guidance.. message is totally downtrodden.each and every minute ppl r dying by heart.everyday praying to meet our lovedones who are farapart.plz issue all visas..

Its not fair to concentrate on a specific sector. Everybody has families and miss them for a long time due to covid pandemic. Every expat is supporting Kuwait economy directly or indirectly. So, please consider others also who are meeting family visa general requirements. Please allow.

Family and visit visa should be opened for all categories .The government should consider this on humanitarian background. Let us hope the life will become normal in kuwait soon.

why always medical and educational sectors given priority... other professionals don''t have the same feelings about their family and visits or what ????
