Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait held Awarding Ceremony of the 24th Annual Art Competition on Saturday, May 4 at Dasman Ballroom of Radisson Blu. This year's theme of the Art Competition was “REPRESENT YOUR CULTURE IN ART!” and students had a complete freedom of selection of media to use. The variety of styles and execution was really astonishing. Each of the students expressed their creativity a different way in paintings, pottery, poetry and more. We received around two hundred art pieces from 16 participating schools including special needs.

The event kicked off with ribbon-cutting ceremony by Jubran Ibrahim, Director of Sales & Marketing of Radisson Blu, followed by the National Anthem of Kuwait and speech of Ms. Dalal Al-Sarraj, Marketing Department of Radisson Blu. During the ceremony, the certificates of appreciation were handed over to the representatives of participating schools and students followed. 20 talented winners were announced at the end of the ceremony after which everyone went on admiring the art pieces.

“We are really glad to get a chance to participate in the competition. Our students are participating every year and every year you give them new challenges.” commented an art teacher.
