Police arrest five curfew breakers in Kuwait

Law enforcers apprehended five people who defied the nationwide partial curfew, said the Ministry of Interior.

In a press statement, the ministry said the curfew breaker -- three Kuwaitis and two foreign residents -- will be remanded in jail pending further investigations and trial.

If convicted, they could be jailed for up to three years, and pay a fine of no more than KD 10,000 (about USD 32,000) or one of the two penalties
