Indian Embassy organised periodic health screening by the Doctors from IDF among the Indians staying at the Indian Embassy shelter.

In order to assure the safety of the Indians at the shelter, Indian Embassy conducts Periodic health screening every fortnight with the active support of the Indian Doctors Forum (IDF). Currently, around twenty plus inmates are staying in the shelter provided by the Indian Embassy.

Embassy shelter is a temporary stay for most deserving destitute Indian workers. Indian Workers in distress are being accommodated at these shelters with all basic amenities while their grievances are being addressed.

Those who stay in the Embassy shelter are deemed to return to India through deportation/repatriation depending upon the approval of Kuwaiti authorities.
