PACI to resolve the delay in issuing Civil ID card soon

The delay in issuing civil id cards by the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) will be resolved soon as the PACI has decided to go ahead with civil ID cards without electronic chip, Al-Rai daily reported.

According to report, PACI also has come up with a new workflow in maintaining and updating the software system in order to store data and provide better and faster service to visitors.

Currently PACI is giving priority to Kuwaiti citizens and those under the age of 5 yrs as this section is not in ‘My Identity’ App.

Fantastic,....
At last they woke up after more than a year and hopefully they don''t go back to sleep again after this news.... I keep reading and hearing this story of resolution almost every month. Earlier PACI was the only department which was working with some good standards but now it''s not only at the bottom, it''s on MINUS level now and they don''t care at all about any inconveniences whatsoever.
