PACI calls on people to collect their Civil ID cards to make way for storing new cards.

PACI calls on people to collect their Civil ID cards to make way for storing new cards.

While the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) is making all efforts to complete the issuance of civil cards for citizens and residents, the presence of more than 100,000 cards in the machine waiting for the people to collect is becoming a significant block for storing new cards on the machine.

According to Al Qabas daily report, PACI has so far succeeded in issuing 858,000 cards for citizens and residents after the re-opening of its services after lockdown. PACI had issued 484,298 cards to non-Kuwaitis during this period.

Director of Production and Distribution Department at the Public Authority for Civil Information, Jasem Al-Mithen called on all cardholders, whose cards are ready for collection at the machine, to come and collect their cards so that new cards can be stored inside the devices.

My civil ID is pending since July. I have not received any call or message yet from PACI. If this is the current situation then I don''t know when will they put my Civil ID card in the machine. I am facing lots of problems without the card. What can I do get my card earlier?
