Chief Operating Officer of IFA Food Mr Remesh Ananda Das visited Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H E Dr Adarsh Swaika, and discussed various business plans with Ambassador at the Embassy last week. Mr Remesh is the Chief Operating Officer for popular supermarket chains in Kuwait, including Oncoast, Gulfmart and Taiba Market.
Remesh introduced their stores and briefed Ambassador about the various products the group is importing from India. The group imports vegetables, fruits, rice, pulses and various ethnic products from India for the Kuwait market for their showrooms under Gulfmart, Oncost and Taiba market brands. The group has 20 outlets at present and is opening three more soon in 2023.
The meeting was also attended by Shri Smita Patil, First Secretary (Political & Commerce).
