Roy Varghese, aged 58, a native of Thiruvalla, Kerala, passed away in Kuwait while undergoing treatment at Farwaniya Hospital for the past two weeks. He was employed with Mohammed Nasser Al Sayer & Co. (Toyota).
He is survived by his wife, Leena Roy, who works with the Kuwait Ministry of Health, and their children, Alona Roy and Abel Roy. Roy Varghese was an active member of the St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Maha Parish, Kuwait.
The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Vallamala, Kunnanthanam, Kerala. Arrangements are currently underway to repatriate the body to his hometown.
