Non-Kuwaiti passengers from banned countries not allowed via transit

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that all non-Kuwaiti passengers from the 31 countries will be prohibited from entering the State of Kuwait, whether they came directly from those countries or "transit" through other countries unless they settle in those non-prohibited countries for 14 days.

After 14 days in the non-prohibited country, the passenger has to perform a PCR examination 72 hours before the flight.

On Saturday, the administration announced the ban on commercial aviation from 31 destinations, according to the health authorities' instructions, and given the situation and repercussions of the spread of the Covid 19 virus on high-risk countries. The list included India, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Spain, and 26 other countries.

USA is not in the banned list of countries. US is the no. 1 leading cases of COVID-19 in the world and there''s no ban. That''s really strange !
