No new cases of Corona reported in Kuwait; No ban on expats to leave Kuwait

The Ministry of Health announced that no new cases of the Corona virus have been recorded in Kuwait in the past 24 hours.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, reassured that the 45 people infected with the virus are in stable conditions.

He reminded everyone the need to take prevent measures and avoid crowded places as far as possible. The evacuation of citizens from countries with high casualties is still continuing, he added.

Assistant Undersecretary of Public Health Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf said that there are no fees for Expats in examination of coronavirus. There is no ban on any non-Kuwaiti to leave Kuwait, however if any expat is found to be infected, we will deal according to the examination and same procedures applied to Kuwaiti citizens, Al-Mudhaf said.

A technical team from World Health Organization will be visiting Kuwait shortly at the request of the Ministry of Health, he said.
