New steps to stop visa 20 holders working in  private sector

Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) is looking for a new way to prevent domestic workers from invading the labor market of private sector.

According to Al-Jarida daily, 50 percent of violators (domestics), who are working in private sector, have been arrested since last year- with the help of a four-member committee formed by Cabinet. The domestic visa holders found working in private sector were arrested for violating law no.6/2010 and concerned authorities took legal action to deport them in coordination with the General Department of Residency Affairs at Ministry of interior, and the files of their employers have since been blocked daily added.

Law no.68/2015 stipulates that domestic personnel are only allowed to work in private homes.

I am yet to hear or read any news which said that many/some fraud sponsors caught or punished, who sold visas and left ppl to work outside. The authority keep saying or keep taking action on many a victims.
