New regulations for food delivery drivers extended for three month

The Ministry of Interior extended the deadline for the new traffic requirements for delivery companies to three month. The new traffic requirements for delivery companies, which was announced to start from October 1st will now start from January 1st 2023.

Earlier, the Ministry of Interior issued new set of guidelines for all delivery companies, which includes that the delivery vehicle driver should be in the company residency for which they are delivering the order, uniform for both driver and the vehicle, etc.

However the owners of small and medium restaurants and cafes appealed to the government to extend the time for preparation. As per their appeal, the deadline is extended to three more month.
