Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi inaugurated the new medical clinic at Kuwait International Airport Terminal 5 (Jazeera Airways terminal). The clinic is part of the ministry’s effort to provided emergency medial service to travellers at all main terminals inside the airport.

These clinics operate around the clock inside the airport terminals and provide integrated medical services for emergency cases with the availability of qualified medical and nursing staff and health inspectors.

These clinics also conduct preventive measures through medical examinations for travelers coming from certain destinations, as needed, to prevent the spread of diseases to the State of Kuwait, in addition to providing health awareness and guidance to ensure safe travel.

The Minister of Health also inspected the Kuwait Airport Health Center and the medical clinics in the passenger buildings (T1, T4 & T5) to review their readiness, the level of health services provided to travelers, and support for health prevention efforts at air ports.
