The General Administration of Customs has launched a new advanced pallet inspection device at Nuwaiseeb Port, strengthening its inspection system and improving security measures.
In a statement on its official website, the department said the move is part of ongoing efforts to modernize customs operations and simplify procedures, keeping pace with the latest security and technology standards both locally and internationally.
The new device, which uses cutting-edge technology, will help enhance customs inspections, prevent smuggling, and protect the country from potential threats.
Similar equipment has already been installed at other key customs locations, including Shuwaikh Port, Doha Port, Air Cargo Customs, and the Sulaibiya and Vegetable Market Customs offices.
