NBTC fire: DNA test done for last victim; relatives of injured arrives Kuwait

Shahrukh Khan, the brother of the Bihar employee, who died in the fire at the NBTC residence in Mangaf, has been brought to Kuwait to complete the DNA tests as requested by the Kuwaiti authorities. The HR & Admin Corporate General Manager Manoj Nanthiyalath has informed that, the deceased person can be identified through measures including DNA test and steps are being taken to bring the body home as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, five of the relatives of other employees, who are injured in the fire and undergoing treatment in Kuwait, arrived here on Sunday. Four more people will reach Kuwait by Wednesday, informed NBTC officials.

As a first step, the NBTC management brought the relatives of the injured employees to Kuwait who expressed their desire to meet their relatives. NBTC has also provided them with facilities such as visitor visa, flight tickets to and from Kuwait, food and accommodation facilities and vehicle for travel.

There are currently 7 employees in the hospital, including 3 employees who are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.

NBTC taking responsibility for the fire accident and doing its utmost to help the families of the deceased and the injured is an excellent example of corporate large heartedness and genuine concern for employees .
