Muslims attend Eid Al-Adha prayers amid strict COVID-19 measures

Worshippers across Kuwait performed Eid Al-Adha prayers on Friday amid strict coronavirus guidelines.

These specific prayers usher in the day's festivities, and are held every year marking the joyous occasion.

This year, however, Muslims across the country flocked to mosques equipped and readied with the strictest health and safety standards.

These prayer halls have been approved and sanctioned by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in preparation for the event.

Social distancing rules and thorough sanitisation have been applied at mosques throughout the country's six governorates with the need to wear a mask a mandatory requirement.

There is no going back to old life. Before you say Amen, go back to your holy scriptures and read what is written about the last days. Many people talk that judgement day is coming soon and about all the signs. Yet it is laughable to see such superficial and self-denying posts where people want to go back to ''old life'' with ''sinless world''.
Brother, you are muslim or christian?
More than anything, we should prepare ourselves for whatever is to come. This is only the beginning. So don''t hope foolishly.

Blessed Eid Al-Adha to all my Muslim brothers and sisters. Be safe and be alert.

Happy to see this. May Allah bless all and remove the coronavirus from us. Bless all to go back to our old life with sinless world. Amen

No use. Large gathering means large no. of infections.
Social distancing rules and mandatory requirements are not magic words. They are just estimations of a problem that has not been fully understood. Vaccines are still in development, let alone all the optimistic targets (obviously rush order attempts by govts.).

But this is still a joyous occasion and which all my fellow muslims a happy, safe and healthy Eid Al-Adha.
