
A heritage market like Mubarakiya will be established in Jahra and Ahmadi districts in the future, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef said. He was speaking to reporters after visiting the Red Palace - Historical place in Al Jahra.
"Most of those who visit Kuwait go to Mubarakiya market, " minister said indicating that His Highness the Amir urged the government to establish Mubarakiya in Jahra and Ahmadi region.
Mubarakiya old market is a historic and popular traditional market that has been a cornerstone of Kuwaiti trade for over 200 years.
