Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) cautioned on Tuesday the public against dealing with false messages or unknown websites, which offer discounts regarding traffic violations.
In a press release, the ministry said paying violations is only done through official channels, "Sahel", the unified governmental application.
It affirmed that it neither sends SMS from international numbers to people nor submits "discounts" for traffic violations.
The ministry appealed to all to make sure of the identity of those who send such messages and revert back immediately about any fake messages through "Aman", security, on "Sahel".
