MoI temporarily freeze the security campaigns against residency violators

The decision to stop campaign is also after taken into account the health situation in the country, and in line with the precautionary measures to prevent any spread of epidemics, especially the Corona virus among the detainees.

Daily reported that verbal instructions were issued 3 days ago to the various security sectors to stop the campaigns against residency violators temporarily, after the campaign was intensified during the past few days and arrested many violators. This resulted in an unprecedented overcrowding of the deportation prison. The lack of flights, and small numbers of deportees in each flights, requires a long period of time to deport all the detainees in deportation center, before arresting new violators, daily added.
