MoI publish WhatsApp number to report dilapidated flags

In order to maintain the respect for the Kuwaiti national flag and to preserve its dignity, the Ministry of Interior allocated a contact number to report dilapidated flags.

Whether it is on government buildings, private buildings or on the streets, if the flag is in inappropriate form, public can report the same to either the emergency number 112 or to the WhatsApp number 91110999 with a photo of the same, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Ministry pointed out that protecting and preserving the Kuwaiti national flag, as it is the identity and symbol of the state, is a national responsibility that falls on the shoulders of society, individuals and institutions.
