MoI launches Family residency renewal, transfer residency to new passport, Latin name modification etc services online

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior (MoI) has launched fresh online services for citizens and residents amid the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing over COVID-19 pandemic.

The new services, which are now available on the ministry's website (www.moi.gov.kw), encompasses transfer of residency from one passport to another for residents, Latin name modification, family residency renewal (Article 22) and sponsors' residence (Article 24), the ministry said in a statement late Sunday.

However, the residency renewal service will be available on the ministry's website only for those whose residency expired as of early March.

The move came following necessary coordination between the ministry's General Department of Residency, Information Technology and Communication Sector, Pubic Authority for Civil Information and Ministry of Health, according to the statement.

My daughter visa expired on 15 may. but new passport i received yesterday 31-5-2020 from indian embassy. i login moi gov site to enter passport details the icons of update passport info not visiable and showing 14 article. if any llink or other way to update the passport information is available kindly send the details. i have paid health insurance also today 01-06-2020.

2. My wife''s residence is expiring now.
3. Can I renew her residence online through MOI Portal without my new CID and in place of CID can I upload my residence renewal confirmation receipt?

Hereafter, it does not allow to proceed for renewal.

The process is so simple.
You need to finish the whole thing in 1 day, otherwise fines will be added the next day and you have to start again.
First go to moi website and pay all the fines u need to for renewing your residence, keep checking every 20 mins to see when the fine is gone
Once the fine is gone go to moh and renew health insurance, make sure to print the reciept
Go back to MOI page after that and proceed with renewal for 10 kwd , After that you will get a link for PACI.
It takes literally 20 mins to get everything done unless you have previous errors in the system,.
NOTE: you cant renew your residence if any existing violations so make sure to pay all fines before you start anything

I AM UNABLE TO RENEW RESIDENCY OF MY MOTHER HER VISA IS 22 EVERYDAY I AM PAYING 2 KD FINE STILL NUTHING IS HAPPENING
After Paying the fine it says:
ﺧطﺄ - اﻟﺷﺧص​ﻟم ﻳدﻓﻊ رﺳوم اﻟﺗﺣﺎق ﺑﻌﺎئل ﻋن اﻟﻣدة اﻟﻣطﻟوﺑة

Error - the person has not paid the enrollment fee for the required period

Were should i pay the enrollment fees which is 200 kd for one year... the is no online option for that
Please help.

i have the same problem, could not complete cause of finger print required. but my expire date not yet over still 1 week remaining. i think we should go to our police station or go to finger print office just try cause if 2 months later all the office opens then just imagine how much late fine we have to pay

The residency expired on 22nd march during lock down.
The govt offices were closed and no system of online renewal was avlbl.
On April 6th online system was made avlbl. Now we are trying to renew but there is a fine for residency violation. why? why must govt levy a fine when it was not our fault? and many people after paying fines are again getting fined. Everyday 2kd is getting added
First the online system needs to be corrected. This is not only for our community but for everyone. Hope the govt takes notice and waives fines for all.

After I paid all of penalties( due to late renewal ) of my child, still I cannot proceed ,the message showing that due to violation existence you cannot renew... Then next day I have to pay 2 more dinar. After I found one Arabic line .it is saying fingerprint required.now finger office closed .

Has anyone completed their Residence on line after paying the fines for late renewal. As my residence 18 no. expired on 28 March 2020.

As I read messages that they cannot renew their residence even paying the fines.

dears my wife visa expired 25th march and when they open it to make 22 visa renewal on;line i try to renew it i ha fine for 22 kd.i paid the fine and when i try to do it again the same volition message appeared. so i waited for a while.after 12am next day again the 2 kd appeared i paid it again the same scene happened.now i dont know what should i do.as they said they will waive of the fine but i dont think they will.so end of the month it will double my salary.now i dont know what should i do god help us.

My Son residency expired on 20th March (during lockdown Period) and Health insurance already made but while doing residency renewal online there is a message that article No: 14 cannot be renewed online.

MY work permits local transfer to a company online on
12-03-2020 next days due corona ministry closed next day , as i come now my residency 18 cannot transferred online without opening of SHOON Ministry
only residency 22 renewal only possible online .
gov has to think our case also as my residency 18 can not transfer without opening ministry my 3 family member residency cannot transfer and we are paying grama. at the same time i am jobless for last five month. some body can help or guide us what to do now

EVERYONE:

After you pay the fine, you need to wait at least about an hour for it to be reflected in the system so that you proceed with the renewal.

Although I was surprised why there was a fine for a residency that expired in March-end, weren''t fines for iqama renewals during lockdown going to be waived off?

I completed the process online last night. However, I was surprised I had to pay the fine for expired residency (in end-March) - although information given during lockdown was that no fines will be levied?

Dear SG - I had to wait almost an hour after paying the fine for it to show that there''s nothing overdue.

i logged in with my user id and password after that it does not show my wife or daughter names to renew, it gives an error message "NO SPONSORSHIP''S AVAILABLE"

You can pay only insurance now, if there is any fine even expiry of residency it is not our mistake , but there no option to pay it. it says online payment under maintenance, may be they will waive off the fine.

My daughter''s residency expired on 22nd March(during lockdown Period) and Health insurance already made but while doing residency renewal online it is asking to pay residence violation fine for late renewal 14days x 2 KD = 28KD. As per the earlier news they are not supposed to take the fine for lockdown period.

Everyone is saying there will not be any late fine to be paid for lockdown period but the same is not implemented in online system.

Any advice..?

fine paid but still showing.. "Cannot proceed your request for violation existance!" may be it will take one day or two to reflect in the renewal portal...

My dependent visa has expired during last week in March (During the ministry closure period). I paid the penalty online, but still getting the below error.

"Cannot proceed your request for violation existance!"

Even i updated the new passport details online.

If anyone succeeded from this error, please provide your feedback.

After paying fines it is not allowing to renew. The message is showing due to violation existence.
If we check it again error msg has comes.
