MoI busts gang Involved in Residency Permit trade

The Department of Residence Affairs Investigation officials arrested a gang for trading in residency permits, forging official documents, and facilitating obtaining residency in exchange for sums of money. The gang involves Syrian, Egyptian and Asians.

The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that the accused transferred the residencies of workers in the country to a company in exchange for sums of money ranging between 700 and 1000 dinars per worker. All legal measures were taken against the accused and the owner of the company, and they were referred to the competent authority.
