The General Department of Criminal Investigation, in two separate incidents, arrested an Asian man for selling food supplies illegally and a gang for stealing construction materials in Mutlaa.
The Farwaniya Investigations Department Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh unit arrested an Asian man, who was illegally selling subsidized food supplies and running an unlicensed grocery store in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Money obtained from illegal sales was found in his possession.
Meanwhile, the Jahra Governorate Investigations Department Mutlaa unit arrested a gang that specializes in stealing construction materials from homes under construction in the Mutlaa area. The accused monitor residential plots, then steal the construction materials, sell them, and share the money.
All the accused and the seized items had been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
