With the opening of barbershops and women's salons activities from Tuesday, the Ministry of Health issued the guidelines that regulate the salons operation.
The draft regulations stipulate a system for reserving appointments, allocating only one employee to serve each customer, with a ban on shaving the beard, rubbing, face scrubbing, dyeing eyebrows and applying makeup, and prohibiting the Moroccan or Turkish bath services, jacuzzis, sauna and massage until further notice.
The controls stipulated that the tools be thoroughly sterilized after each customer, and that the customer should wear the apron himself.
Saloon must use the approved disinfectants and air conditioners filters and ventilation system must remain cleaned. Staff must be screened daily and must be trained to manage suspected cases as per the guidelines. The guidelines also published the procedure to follow in cases of suspected cases.
