
The Ministry of Health has affirmed the stability and full operational readiness of Kuwait’s healthcare system, reassuring the public that medical services and drug supplies remain unaffected and well-secured across the country.
In an official statement, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, confirmed that Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi chaired a high-level meeting on Friday with the Ministry’s Undersecretary Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and other officials. The meeting reviewed emergency preparedness plans and ongoing precautionary measures to ensure continued healthcare service delivery amidst regional developments.
Dr. Al-Sanad emphasized that medical services are functioning smoothly in all hospitals and health centers throughout Kuwait. “Our medical and nursing staff are operating at full capacity across all governorates,” he stated.
He also assured that there is a sufficient and strategically managed stockpile of medicines and medical supplies, which are regularly reviewed and updated as part of a robust logistics system. The Central Blood Bank continues to receive donors and maintains a strong reserve in support of national health preparedness.
Dr. Al-Sanad concluded by praying for the safety and stability of Kuwait and all countries, expressing gratitude for the continued efforts of healthcare workers and the cooperation of the public.
