The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has taken action against perfume shops in Hawalli and Jahra for selling products with names that violate Islamic law and are considered offensive to the divine being.
Emergency teams discovered the violations during inspection campaigns and immediately took the necessary legal steps. The stores were shut down, and the violators have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
The Ministry confirmed that it remains committed to preserving public morals and religious respect, and that such violations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
