India's External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will address the Indian community in Kuwait on Friday, 11th June 2021. All Indian nationals are invited to attend the virtual interaction with Minister on Friday 6:00 pm.

The virtual meeting will be live casted on Indian Embassy social media pages including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Minister Dr S Jaishankar will be reaching Kuwait today for a three day visit. Minister will hold high-level meetings with Kuwaiti authorities. He will also carry a personal letter from Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to the Amir of Kuwait. This is the first visit by Dr S Jaishankar to Kuwait after he took charge as the External Affair s Minister.

When the second wave of Covid Pandemic hit India, India and Kuwait have set a maritime bridge for the convenient transport of medical oxygen as well as oxygen-carrying equipment. With this bridge, Indian Navy ships brought essential medical supplies under its Operation Samudra Setu II as the nation was tackling a dramatic surge of coronavirus infections.

Premananth Anbanandan Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Greetings Sirs, I took both doses of vaccine in India. My final vaccination certificate is issued with Aadhar Card as ID proof. I do not know if it is acceptable by MoH Kuwait. If not we need to get new certificate showing Passport number. When I contacted the national helpline, state helpline and district war rooms no has any idea about the procedure to change the ID from Aadhaar to Passport Number. No clarity is available on this matter though the center has given directives just two days before for the news individuals who work in abroad to include the passport number. Request Indian Embassy to address this matter to Shri. Dr. S. Jaishakar and resolve the matter by letting the center administrators where we took the vaccine to have the privilege to change the ID proof or letting the common service centers in the state to have option to upload proof of Passport and change of passport number for approval of change in vaccination certificates. James N Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Hi, Request the minister to discuss and address the CoviShield - Oxford AstraZeneca name confusion. We are hoping the MEA and Indian Embassy team can convince the MOH authorities about this and add it to the list of "Approved Vaccines" by Kuwait. It will save a lot of headache in correcting the already issued Certificates and aid the Expats with valid residence to return without any confusion or problems. Regards,
