The Indian Embassy in Kuwait hosted a captivating "Dakshina Sambhrama" on Friday, November 8th, to celebrate the state formation days of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The event was organised jointly with various community associations from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka at the Embassy auditorium and was attended by large number of community members.
In his inaugural address, Ambassador highlighted the Embassy’s commitment to community support, reminding attendees that the Embassy's 12 WhatsApp numbers are available to assist those in need. He also cautioned the community members about conmen and fraudsters posing as Embassy staff and asking money for assistance. He encouraged the community to provide feedback on Embassy or BLS services through feedback forms available at the venues.
The evening featured mesmerizing classical and folk dance performances by members of associations like Kannada Koota, Tulu Koota, Billava Sangha, Telugu Kala Samithi, Pravasandhra, etc. The performances included traditional cultural displays such as the Tiger Dance of Tulunadu, Yakshagana, Kuchipudi, and Chakka Bhajans, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and leaving the audience thoroughly enthralled.
