
Many of the residents in Kuwait felt the earthquake Thursday morning. According to report, the National Seismic Network at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research announced that it had detected an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale in western Iran, which occurred at exactly 07:02 a.m. on Thursday, Kuwait time, at a depth of 10 kilometers underground.
It added that an aftershock was felt at Kuwait at 07:23 am and second aftershock at 08:38 am.
The centre said in a press release that the epicenter of the earthquake was 273 kilometers away from Kuwait City and was felt by many citizens and residents across the country.
