Lulu Kuwait Launches Premium Cherries from the Valleys of Kashmir

Premium cherries from Jammu & Kashmir have officially made their debut in Kuwait, with a special launch event held at Lulu Hypermarket, Al Rai. The occasion was graced by the presence of Shri Sanjay K. Muluka, Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy to Kuwait, and Shri Davinder Punj, Second Secretary/PPS (Commerce), Indian Embassy to Kuwait, along with senior management from Lulu Hypermarket—highlighting the growing availability of premium Indian products in the Kuwaiti market.

The hand-picked Kashmiri cherries, renowned for their deep red color and exceptional sweetness, are now available across all Lulu Hypermarket stores in Kuwait. To celebrate this launch, Lulu Hypermarket has announced exclusive promotional offers on these cherries, alongside a wide selection of exotic Indian fruits and products such as Rambutan, Dragon Fruit, Mangosteen, Java Plum, Pulasan, and more.

This milestone marks a significant chapter in the journey of Indian agri-exports, reflecting the rising global demand for high-quality produce from the Himalayan region. The shipment, comprising premium-grade cherries cultivated in Kashmir, showcases India’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international footprint and creating new opportunities for farmers in Jammu & Kashmir.

The introduction of Kashmiri cherries to the Kuwaiti market is expected to benefit both consumers and producers—offering fresh, top-quality fruit to customers while supporting the livelihoods of Indian farmers.

Customers are invited to visit Lulu Hypermarket outlets across Kuwait to enjoy these special offers and savor the unique flavors of India’s exotic produce.
