Life During Lockdown

Lockdown is such a unique experience that there is a drastic change in the life of the people around the world. Experience difficult to judge good or bad while there is some good points that we can learn from it. They have also been many devastating things that we saw, heard and experience while there were many good points that we can mention still we also learn from the difficult experience. Life during lockdown is very difficult in the terms of being caged in the house and especially for children like me because we are used to be out for school. With school closures, parenting have become increasingly challenging. School shutdown is also a chance to make better relationships with our family. During the time of lockdown we have to stop our maid (Aunty) to come to our house for work and even my parents cannot go out for work instead of going to office my father is working from home. It’s Work from Home. Lockdown has caused lots if learning along with discomfort. Lockdown has many changes in our lifestyles. But we had to stay indoors for unknown period. We cannot go to visit our relative’s friends and even we cannot go to the malls. During the time of lockdown I utilize it by giving more time to my activities such as practicing drawing, learning my tables thoroughly and writing stories and diaries on my day to day work and making schedule busy in doing all the curriculum activities so that I am busy making myself perfect and increasing my confident level by motivating my own self. During this pandemic period I learned making chocolates with the help of YouTube and helped my mother in kitchen while doing the chores. I also gave my time in Islamic activities such as reading Quran and listening to the stories of Prophet’s and get to know how difficult time they had to go during their time and how they struggle and also we got more time to spend with our family. We learn to make new dishes, drawings and help in house works. We got closer to cousins in India through video chat but we still miss visiting them. During this difficult period of time we must find innovative ways to ensure education despite the continues challenging situation. The whole life-style has become stand-still. An uncertainty around the economic has come down. People are living in fear. The distance between the people are being little more apart physically but at the other hand the good thing is people value, the freedom that they had enjoyed. People started valuing more the need of freedom, the need to be closely connected to each other. The need to be with the family need to come down in prayers need to pray for everyone of any difference, need to forgive and need to be as one. The biggest thing is to realize what damage the people have caused to this planet earth and to take care of this planet overall .We hope and pray that this lockdown is soon over and everything is back to normal for this we have follow the rules and “STAY HOME AND STAY SAFE.”
