I stayed in Kuwait for 35 years still same old stories going on there. I think this country does not believe in relations, tourism , or any additional income from other sources except oil. Great keep going like this and we wish you good luck.

It''s really funny. Various news to confuse keep coming at least every month. The news items muddy the water further instead of giving the proper guidelines almost every time.
The officers aren''t trained properly or may be during the training they were busy in smoking and tea. They don''t care the suffering of the expats who are seeking the visa for parents to be here.
If one reminds them about the salary criteria or news items, they say "go and get the visa from there".
Age is the problem, no clarity
Salary, no clarity
Duration, no clarity
If one satisfy salary & age then the designation becomes an issue. This happens with my wife, "you are not Manager, we can''t give the visit visa for ur brother".
Sometimes, brother won''t get. Sister won''t get.
It feels, they think Parents or/and In laws are to be younger than their children to get the visit visa, what nonsense is this.
Everything above, ppl are asked to visit the Mudeer @Farwaniya. One goes there, the ppl sitting there keep throwing ppl out with one excuse after other.
I really fail to understand, what purpose it solves to issue one month visit instead of 3 months.
I don''t think, they want to have any proper guidelines otherwise fixing the age or duration is not that big deal. For health facilities, let the visitor be not allowed at the govt hospital or let them carry the insurance. All the other GCC neighbors are way way ahead.
I hope, they change the useless hurdles.

Had applied to get my father who is 65+ age but they said go get the approval from the mudeer at immigration who rejected the application, saying you need a salary of more than 1000KD.
