Kuwait’s confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 140,056 after the Ministry of Health announced 322 new infections yesterday. Meanwhile, the death toll reached 866 after three fatalities were recorded over the previous 24 hours, the ministry said.

As for recoveries, the total number reached 132,178 after 618 recovered over the same period. The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 7,012, with 86 of them in intensive care units, according to a Health ministry statement, adding that some 4,099 swab tests were conducted over the past 24 hours out of a total of 1,052,001 so far. The ministry went on to urge the public to abide by health precautions, mainly following social distancing rules as the only way to halt the spread of the virus.
