The Guinness Book of Records recorded Kuwait's Assima Mall Chandelier as the largest suspended chandelier in the world, after it met all the standards. The Chandelier achieved the record to be the largest of its kind in the world in size and dimensions. The largest chandelier is 47.7 m x 29.2 m x 28.3 m and was achieved by Assima Pearls by Assima Mall (Kuwait) in Kuwait City, Kuwait on 29 August 2022.

The Assima, meaning capital in Arabic is located in the heart of Kuwait City, with a total built up area of 380,000 square meters.

Assima Pearls was designed and created by Czech designer Kateřina Handlová, who specializes in designing and manufacturing chandeliers and all kinds of lighting. The weight of the chandelier structure is approximately 16 tons, and the height is 47.7 meters, the length is 29.2 meters, and the width is 28.3 meters.
