The Public Authority for Manpower has lifted the ban on working in open areas during midday hours. This ban, which was in effect from June 1 to August 31, prohibited work from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to protect workers during the peak summer heat.
According to Marzouq Al-Otaibi, the Acting Director General of the Authority, inspectors identified 205 sites that violated the ban. A total of 213 workers were found working during restricted hours. Of the 129 sites issued notices for first-time violations, 119 corrected the issues upon re-inspection.
