Kuwait detained a citizen on charges of spreading fake news on social media platform 'X', that could harm the country’s national interests.
According to report, the prosecution announced that the accused had been interrogated and confronted with the charges. The reports suggested that the citizen was promoting a terrorist organization through his personal account on the social networking site “X.”
