The ministries and government agencies have implemented the evening shift system from Sunday.
The introduction of the evening shift system is in line with a Cabinet decision aimed at improving the work environment in the government sector. This initiative is also intended to provide citizens and residents with more flexibility in completing their transactions by simplifying procedures and making services available at different times that suit the public.
The ministries, authorities, and institutions had already determined the names and numbers of employees designated for the evening shift.
The guidelines set by the CSC for evening work, including a maximum of 4.5 working hours per day. Work hours will not start before 3:30 p.m., and the flexible working hours system will not apply to employees working the evening shift, along with other stipulated conditions.
