Kuwait basic food supplies are reassuring and they are at highest levels, said Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday.

The Ministry called on all citizens and expatriates not to respond or rebroadcast any material on the social media including people or unofficial bodies calling people to store basic food goods, and to take information from its official sources.

All of the country's specialized authorities are practicing their roles to guarantee the availability of goods and to avoid any shortage, it added.

Storing any of these goods will lead to their damage, and consumers should lay their back down and just purchase what they need without any unnecessary panic, it affirmed.
