Kuwait’s Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Monday, warning of scattered rain showers, some of which may turn into thunderstorms, accompanied by dust-raising winds and reduced visibility, especially in open areas. High sea waves are also expected.
Acting Director Dherar Al-Ali explained that this weather shift is part of the seasonal transition known as the 'Sayarat' period, which is characterized by sudden and unstable weather conditions. The unsettled weather is expected to continue intermittently until Tuesday morning. He urged the public to stay updated through the department’s official website, mobile app, and social media channels.
