Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, in collaboration with General Secretariat of Awqaf, launched Saturday a charitable campaign to distribute 23,000 meals to limited income people during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a press statement, Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Food Bank Mishaal Al-Ansari said the campaign is part of a group of charitable initiatives undertaken by the Bank during Ramadan in light of the difficult circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The campaign is a part of the bank strategy to secure the needs of deprived families, Al-Ansari said.
He confirmed the bank efforts to support all charitable and voluntary activities to better serve the Kuwaiti society.
Al-Ansari added that the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank is the first charitable body that launched relief campaign all over Kuwait.
