Kuwait DGCA to reopen restaurants & prayer rooms at Kuwait International Airport

The Executive Committee for the restarting of Commercial operation at Kuwait International Airport has decided to restart the service of restaurants and cafes inside the airport to the public in accordance with health and preventive requirements, and to open prayer rooms to perform prayers only without sitting. The decisions came after recommendations were submitted by civil aviation that had the approval of the health authorities.

The Deputy Director General for Kuwait Airport Affairs, Saleh Al-Fadaghi, said that travel requirements are subject to continuous review.

First you said country ban on 34 countries, then you say majority of customers for airport restaurants are from the banned countries.
It is either one or the other NOT both.
Don''t worry about Kuwaiti economy. Kuwait govt. knows what they want and first on the list of wants is removal of expats mostly Indians immediately. If you truly care about Kuwaiti economy and assuming you are Indian, I suggest you pack your bags and board the first flight home for good - if and only if you truly care about the business and economy going under, as you say.
NO? They worry about your bank account and when you run a country, perhaps you might have wisdom to share and not meaningless utterances. Another example why Kuwait authorities need to get rid of unwanted expats post haste.

When infections start spreading and multiple people test positive after landing at their destinations, maybe common sense will prevail.
Till then, enjoy.
But remember, vaccine is still not released. Impatience of the people will only cause more trouble. But it looks like in this world of microwave recipes and one click solutions, people have forgotten the benefits and waiting and watching.
All they have learnt is to wait and copy other people''s mistakes.

What''s the point of opening these restaurants when there''s a ban on passengers coming to Kuwait from 34 countries?!!! Majority of passengers who are using the airport restaurants are from the ban affected countries. How you can expect the restaurant business to earn profit when there are less customers?!!! It''s time the authorities relax the ban and start reviving the lost economy of Kuwait. What a pity on Kuwait''s economy!!! By the time Kuwait brings out a vaccine for the pandemic, many businesses would have shut and gone.
