Kuwait’s Meteorology Department has issued a weather advisory forecasting strong winds across the country starting Wednesday and continuing through Saturday.
Acting Director of the Meteorology Department, Dharar Al-Ali, stated that weather charts indicate the onset of intensified wind activity beginning Wednesday morning. Daytime wind speeds are expected to exceed 55 km/h, potentially reducing horizontal visibility, especially in open and desert areas.
Al-Ali added that while wind intensity may slightly decrease during the night, gusts could still reach up to 40 km/h in some regions. He urged motorists to exercise caution due to poor visibility and warned seafarers of high sea waves, which may rise beyond six feet.
